Dr. J Prianto L.A. BSc. (Hons) was born in Jakarta and completed his medical degree at Trisakti University, Jakarta. He later passed the National Medical Examination administered by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia.

He was subsequently awarded a scholarship to study at the University of the Arts London, where he earned a First-Class Honours (Summa Cum Laude) Bachelor of Science degree in Cosmetic Science under Professor Danka Tamburic.

While in London, he worked with leading global brands such as Coty and Lancôme as a consultant and gained extensive experience within the luxury beauty industry.

Upon returning to Jakarta, Dr. Prianto founded the London Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in 2014, quickly establishing the clinic as a leading center for aesthetic treatments.

He then expanded the London Institute into a plastic surgery division, known as London Institute Plastic Surgery, or simply “LIPS.”

Following LIPS’ success, Dr. Prianto broadened the clinic’s services under the “LIPS” brand to include Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Dermatology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Hypnotherapy Counseling, and Nutrition, in addition to Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Prianto has been a speaker at various symposiums and presentations and remains passionate about introducing the latest treatments to the people of Jakarta and Indonesia.

Supporting this mission, Dr. Prianto published his book “Cantik” in 2014, which was featured and sold in major bookstores throughout Indonesia. Additionally, he has authored several medical textbooks for medical students.

As the founder of LIPS Clinic, Dr. Prianto also serves as the Chief Executive and Creative Director across all LIPS Clinic specialties.
